Terms of Use
Last updated: September 22, 2026
The short version. The app is free and open source. Pro is $3 a year after a 30-day free trial, renews yearly, and you can cancel at any time from the billing portal. This Worker stores a token mapping, not your favorites list. We do not promise perfection, and our liability is limited to what you paid us.
1. Acceptance
By using the Favorites app, this site, or a Favorites Pro subscription (together, the "Service"), you agree to these terms. The Service is provided by Michal Ferber, trading as TechGuyWithABeard, a business of ThompsonBlack LLC.
2. What the Service is
Favorites is a speed-dial start page at app.favoritespage.us. Used without a token it keeps everything in your browser.
Favorites Pro is a paid subscription that adds a sync token so several devices can share one set of favorites. That is the whole of what you are buying.
3. The free app and its source code
The Favorites app is open source under the MIT License (favoritespage-app). These terms govern the hosted service we operate—checkout, the token mapping, and this site.
4. Subscribing, renewing, and cancelling
- Price. $3.00 per year, US dollars.
- Free trial. 30 days, and one per customer. Nothing is charged on the day a trial starts. If you have subscribed before, checkout charges the annual fee immediately instead.
- Renewal. Automatically each year until you cancel.
- Cancelling. Any time through the billing portal linked from your account at account.tgwab.us.
Payments are processed by Stripe.
5. Your sync token
Anyone who holds the token can read and overwrite your synced favorites. We store
only a SHA-256 hash as token:<hash> in KV. If it leaks, ask us
through the contact form to replace it.
6. Your favorites are yours
You keep all rights in the titles, links, and settings you store. The app writes
that document to state:* keys in KV; this Worker does not. You can
export from the app at any time. How long we keep records, and how to have them
erased, is in the Privacy Policy.
7. When a subscription ends
The token mapping is deleted (sync stops). Devices keep their local copy. The
state:* document is left in place so a resubscribe resumes where you
left off. Ask us to erase it if you would rather.
8. Disclaimer and liability
The Service is provided "as is". Keep your own backups. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under the consumer law where you live.
9. Contact
